American Legion on Facebook
Submitted by arvetad on Wed, 04/28/2010 - 3:09pm
A drive to raise The American Legion Online Update's Facebook fans to 10,000 was launched April 15 and has brought in more than 3,200 new fans in less than five days. Help keep that momentum going so they can hit 10,000 in the next few days and then focus on a new goal: 20,000 Facebook fans by the national convention in August.
Simply go to the American Legion Facebook page and click on "like" (Facebook no longer has the "Become a fan" feature). The Legion's official Facebook page is a great source of information, providing direct links to the biggest stories on the Legion's Web site and the Burn Pit blog site, as well as to news stories from all over the Internet that are of interest to Legion family members. And it's also a great place to interact with your fellow Legionnaires; on two separate days in March and April, there were 179 and 180 interactions, respectively, posted by fans to the page.
