FAST Mentoring Program

The Arkansas SBTDC's FAST Mentoring Program is intended to provide guided, stepwise coaching for individuals who are writing Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) / Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) grant proposal applications. Program participants will receive technical assistance with SBIR/STTR program registration and submission processes and receive proposal feedback from FAST mentors on a biweekly basis.

To apply to the FAST Mentoring Program, your company must be:

* located in Arkansas, or have definitive plans for relocating to Arkansas within the next 6 months;

* at an early stage of product and organizational development;

* targeting state-of-the-art products in the technology or life sciences markets;

* able to engage in biweekly meetings with designated FAST program mentors;

* able to generate revised drafts of Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR)/ Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) proposals on a weekly basis for review by FAST mentors.

The Mentoring Program is limited to 6 participants and mentoring will begin in November, 2010. To ensure your application is considered for one of these six spots, please return your application by Friday, October 29. Applications received after this deadline will be considered on a space available basis.
