Position Summary:
This is a second shift position working 3 pm to 11:30 pm.
Perform minor component repair and all aspects of preventative maintenance on the newest and best maintained fleet of power, refrigerated and non- powered equipment in the industry.

We have industry leading technology, tools and experts in the maintenance field and industry. You will receive state of the art training each year on a variety of OEM equipment. Many of our technicians have been trained and certified through Penske's Technician Certification Program which is ASE certified as a CASE (Continuing Automotive Service Education) provider.

Major Responsibilities:
- Vehicle component lubrication and replacement
- Electrical system repairs
- Cooling system maintenance
- Perform basic diagnostics

Qualifications
- 1-2 years of automotive or diesel experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Vocational or Technical certification preferred
- Working knowledge in the use of hand tools required
- A valid driver's license is required, and, must either possess a CDL or have the ability to obtain a CDL license required
- Must have a Positive attitude and willingness to grow in position
- Basic computer skills preferred for data entry into maintenance systems.
- Willingness to travel within district (close geographical area), work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a reference verification (to include past employment and education) are required

This a Dedicated regional account that hubs out of Hot Springs AR. You will be hauling water for a nationwide known company hauling their products to the eastern half of the US (Mainly east of I-35). You will pull the preloaded freight in a 53 ft dry van using a Mid Roof Conventional tractor. The truck is assigned to you but you are not able to take it home for your time off.
The starting pay on the account is .36 cpm running an average of 2200 miles per week. There is also a $12.50 dollar stop pay at each stop. The average W2 on the account is $42,500. $800 - $850.00 dollars a week average pay. This is all no touch freight. Primarily these are drop and hook loads with some live load/unload mixed in.

You are home weekly for 48 hours on the weekends. Drivers can live within a 50 mile radius of Hot Springs AR.

Dry van company that has been in business since 1926 is leasing 2009-2011 Kenworth T660's that come with an APU. We pay $1.00 per loaded mile plus fuel surcharge if you have a hazmat endorsement or .94 per loaded mile plus fuel surcharge without hazmat endorsement. Overall only 4.79% of our loads are hazmat but you still get paid 6 cents more on all loads just for having the endorsement. Pay is .90 per mile plus fuel surcharge on empty miles. Our running area is the midwest, south and southeast. We do very little out west and very little to the northeast and no New York City.
