FREE Small Business Webinars for Veterans

The training is offered at no charge. Webinars will be held every other Tuesday in May, June and July. The one-hour sessions are based on ASBTDC’s most popular traditional classroom seminars.
Arkansas Veteran Resource Directory and Map

The Arkansas Veteran Resource Directory provides an easy to use tool for locating veteran focused assistance with benefits, claims, employment, health, small business and much more. Assistance providers may be located by county, by assistance provided, and by zipcode proximity. Directory results include addresses, telephone numbers, local maps, links to assistance provider websites.
An interactive Google Map depicting all assistance providers is also available. Users may zoom in/out, drag, and change type of map displayed.

A well-thought-out business plan is key to establishing and running a successful business. Developing a business plan will help you define your concept, evaluate your competition, set goals, determine risks and estimate your costs. Using the book, Business Plan in a Day by Rhonda Abrams, this full-day “business boot camp” will explain and illustrate a business plan format that will assist Arkansas veterans in starting or expanding a small business. The registration fee includes a copy of the book and lunch. 2 for 1 offer: bring your spouse at no additional charge. Pre-registration required.
FREE Veteran Mentoring Program
Veterans interested in more intensive business planning assistance following the one-day boot camp can apply for our free 16-week veterans mentoring program. The mentoring program will involve one-on-one sessions with an experienced business consultant, online learning and the completion of a business plan.
Procurement pre-conference trainings set

The conference provides a unique opportunity for businesses to meet with corporate and government purchasing contacts.
Led by the conference planning committee, the training sessions will help you understand what buyers are looking for, answer questions you may have about the procurement process and cover everything you need to know to participate in the conference. The first pre-conference training was Feb. 21 in West Memphis. Upcoming training events:
