Arkansas Veteran Resource Directory and Map

The Arkansas Veteran Resource Directory provides an easy to use tool for locating veteran focused assistance with benefits, claims, employment, health, small business and much more. Assistance providers may be located by county, by assistance provided, and by zipcode proximity. Directory results include addresses, telephone numbers, local maps, links to assistance provider websites.

An interactive Google Map depicting all assistance providers is also available. Users may zoom in/out, drag, and change type of map displayed.

New Online Training Program Available: How To Write a Business Plan

The Arkansas SBTDC has released a new online training program entitled "How To Write a Business Plan". The ASBTDC converted their popular instructor led class into a completely online learning experience.

The course contains the same materials and information that one would receive attending the class in person.
The online class includes free resources including a sample business plan, editable business plan outline, abd the ASBTDC's publication Business Blueprints.

The online How To Write a Business Plan class takes about 50 minutes to complete.

Veterans wanting to start businesses can get free training from ASBTDC

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Military veterans who are aspiring entrepreneurs can take advantage of free small business training from the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center.

Veterans may attend ASBTDC’s popular live seminar, “Starting a Business in Arkansas,” at no charge, or view the webinar version at ArkansasVeteran.com/start. The program prepares participants for the intensive business planning process by explaining requirements for start-up businesses, keys to success and common pitfalls to avoid.
